Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 15, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how the GlassScore app ("GlassScore", "we", "us") handles information when you use it. We built GlassScore to work almost entirely on your device, and we keep data collection to the minimum needed to run ads and process an optional purchase.
Information we collect
We do not ask you to create an account and we do not collect your name, email, or contacts. GlassScore has two sources of data:
- Data stored only on your device. Player names, scores, and app settings you enter are saved locally on your phone so they persist between sessions. This information never leaves your device and is not sent to us or anyone else. Deleting the app removes it.
- Advertising data collected by Google AdMob. The free version of GlassScore displays ads through Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, AdMob may collect device identifiers, approximate location derived from your IP address, and ad interaction data. This processing is performed by Google, not by us, and is governed by Google's own privacy policy.
In-app purchases
GlassScore offers a one-time "Remove Ads" purchase. Payments are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see or store your payment details. Apple provides us only with anonymous confirmation that a purchase was made or restored.
How the advertising data is used
Google uses the data described above to display ads, limit how often you see the same ad, measure ad performance, and — where permitted — show more relevant ads. You can review and control this through your device's privacy settings.
- On iOS, if we ask for permission to track, you may decline via the App Tracking Transparency prompt, and you can change it anytime in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
- You can reset your advertising identifier in your device settings at any time.
- Purchasing "Remove Ads" stops ads from being shown, which stops the associated ad data collection within the app.
Third-party services
GlassScore relies on the following third parties, each with their own privacy practices:
- Google AdMob — policies.google.com/privacy (see also how Google uses data).
- Apple App Store — for app distribution and purchases, apple.com/legal/privacy.
Children's privacy
GlassScore is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will address it.
Data retention & your rights
Because the data you enter stays on your device, you are in control of it — clearing it is as simple as resetting scores or deleting the app. For any advertising data processed by Google, please refer to Google's policy for retention details and your rights.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the revised policy.
